Luckily, Windows allows them to choose which sound output to use when there are multiple audio outputs detected on Windows 10. It can handle 16 channels per instances which is sufficient for one LUCI STUDIO instance ( max “7.1” ).It’s a common situation that users have more than one audio output device connected to the computer. This is suitable for LUCI STUDIO with more instances (simultaneous streams). All though it has support for 32 audio channels it’s only limited to one Application (not multi client !), so can only be used by LUCI LIVE or LUCI STUDIO with 1 instance ( no simultaneous streams ).
These multi-client ASIO drivers are a must if you want to use LUCI STUDIO as a multi channel server. Most Vendors like RME, Focusrite or Motu have excellent Audio interfaces and supply “multi-client” ASIO drivers. All our LUCI products are compatible with all audio interfaces that are supported by the Operating system.įor Windows it is advisable to use so called ASIO drivers that tend to have smaller latencies ( audio delays ).
