Emby’s Home Theater app provides live TV and program video recording support. To play any media, you need to pay $49.99 annually for the Emby Premiere subscription. Instead, it is a personal media server platform so that you can access your music, video, and images on the go. Note: Emby isn’t a streaming service and does not provide you with any content. It supports almost all music and video formats. Plex is a great software to organize images, videos, and music collections. You need to unlock it with an in-app purchase or a monthly $4.99 Plex pass subscription. Free version limits media playback to one minute.
